Important question for passionate (and busy) language learners who are considering
adding a new language to their repertoire:
What If You Could Study More Languages Without Sacrificing the Progress Youâve Already Made?
Learning another language doesnât mean youâre going to forget the one(s) youâve learnt.
Let me show you how in Multilingual Power-Up.

If Life is a Bit Chaotic You Might Wonder if You Even have Time to Start a New LanguageâŚ
I get it.
Between
- đź Working or studying full-time
- âď¸ Having a social life
- đđžââď¸ Nonlanguage learning related hobbies
- đ And wanting to simply relax from time to time (you deserve it!)
the thought of adding a new language to your routine is daunting.
Itâs especially daunting when youâre worried that all the progress youâve made in your other language(s) is going to go down the drain if you add another.
đ¤ Is it really possible to maintain your second language (or third, or fourth) while adding a new one?
(Yes! I do it all the time).
đ¤ Can you really develop a reasonable study plan that fits around your life and existing schedule?
(Oui! Once youâre clear about your goals your action plan becomes a lot easier).
But there are some powerful misconceptions that could be holding you back from going all-in on your multilingual dreams.
And Iâd like to pick them apart if youâll indulge me.
âI was struggling with my Danish because the methods I'd used for
studying other languages weren't working this time. When I took the course I realised why the methods I used to depend on wouldn't work for Danish, so I was able to be more effective in how I studied it and make peace with slower progress.
Another key highlight for me was how Kerstin gives you permission to dabble with other languages. That took a lot of guilt away for me and actually dabbling in other languages helped unblock my progress in Danish.
I got my joy for language learning back thanks to Multilingual Power Up!
If you want to incorporate lots of languages and enjoy your language
learning, despite your busy schedule you should really take Multilingual
Power Up because it makes it easy.â

Myth 1: You Need to be at Least Upper Intermediate Before Adding a New Language
Are we learning languages or playing Mario Kart?!
Reaching an upper-intermediate level doesn't make you bulletproof: you never âcompleteâ a language. And if you took a break without adding a 3rd language, you would also go a little rusty.
Iâve found that the key to progressing in more than one language at once is to stay realistic and confident, and to set very clear goals about the purpose of learning each language.
Once you understand your goals, you can then adapt specific learning models based on a time and intensity axis to help you maintain your current language and learn a new one.
You can absolutely do this without having reached a specific level.
Myth 2: Interference = Bad
How defeating does it feel when youâre constantly cymysgu SprachenâŚsorry I mean mixing up languages every time you try to practise!
Fact is: interference is a natural part of language learning, and even the most bilingual folks get interference.
(I definitely get interference with my native German and Englishâdoes that mean Iâm losing my mother tongue? Errr, probably not).
Interference doesnât mean youâre failing.
Itâs a badge of multilingual honour and a problem most people wished they had.
Imagine how far you'd get when you no longer have to worry about mixing up words?
(Spoiler alert: you'll learn to love your interference, not fear it, with Multilingual Power-Up).
Myth 3: Recovering a Language is difficult
Another big worry aspiring multilinguals often have is that taking a break from their current language will mean losing it.
But hereâs the thing:
Some researchers say that we can never truly forget something thatâs been committed to long-term memory.
I see this a lot with my French which I pause and pick up without ever dropping below a B1 level.
(And I havenât formally studied French in about 20 years to give you an idea!)
In other words, it's safe to add more languages and slow down on others. The key to success is having a good plan, pacing yourself, and knowing a few tricks so you don't end up frustrated.
Thatâs why in Multilingual Power-Up weâll focus on developing your own multilingual roadmap to suit your specific goals.
đĽ Itâs time to introduce to you..

What You Get Inside Multilingual Power-Up
Salut, Ciao, Shwâmae, Hi there đ
Iâm Kerstin and Iâm Living Proof that Learning Multiple Languages Can be Fun & Rewarding
Not that Iâm some âhyperpolyglotâ or anything. Iâm just a language nerd like you who canât bear the idea of strictly limiting myself to 2 languages.
You see, my world opens up a little bit more with each and every language that I study.
I donât want you to miss out on that joy because some YouTuber told you youâll derail your L2 by adding a new language.
Iâve been learning languages since before the internet was a thing and it shocked me how widespread views like this are.
Iâd never followed any of the advice Iâd read online and here I am a happy speaker of
German đŠđŞ, English đŹđ§, French đŤđˇ, and Welsh đ´ó §ó ˘ó ˇó Źó łó ż (and I get by with quite a few others!)
And hereâs the thing:
I donât want you to give up on your dreams of becoming multilingual,
which is why Iâm so excited to bring you Multilingual Power-Up.
Itâs time you finally gave into that little voice that tells you itâs time to study a new language.

You Might be WonderingâŚ
What if Iâm below a B2 level in my L2? Can I still learn another language?
You can definitely start learning another language even if you havenât reached a B2 level in the language youâre studying now. You can always continue studying to reach a B2 while adding another language, but your progress might be slower.
And thereâs nothing wrong with slower progress if adding another language to your study routine will bring you that warm, fuzzy, joy we all know from language study.
Itâs all about managing expectations and understanding your goals so you can build a roadmap to help you get there.
Iâm overwhelmed with how many resources I have. Won't this course just gather digital dust like my other resources?
I know this feeling! Thatâs why I always design my courses to get my students the results they want as quickly as possible. That means thereâs not a ton of fluff or filler and Iâve condensed this course down to only what you need to know to successfully study multiple languages at a time.
You can get through it in an afternoon! So you wonât have to worry about finding a spare 14+ hours in your schedule to study.
Should I study two languages from the same family?
There are two camps:
- Never study two languages from the same family as it causes too much interference
- DO study from the same family because itâll be easier to learn the new language.
Confusing, right?
I say this: thereâs some truth to both arguments. However, your reasons for wanting to study the languages matter enormously. Our intrinsic motivations have a huge impact on our language learning success.
If youâre in love with Spanish and want to pick up some French for a dream holiday and be âtravel fluentâ, it makes no sense at all to not learn French. There are benefits and downsides, but your WHY matters more than anything,.
In Multilingual Power-Up Iâll show you how to leverage your âwhyâ to create a reasonable study schedule you can actually stick to (and will enjoy!).
Whatâs the refund policy?
If you follow the advice in Multilingual Power-Up and find that it just doesnât feel right for you at all, you can get your money back by asking me for a refund.

I do run occasional "live rounds", which are a few weeks long and include optional live support elements. However, these are separate to the course content and entirely optional events that you will receive as a student on my course.
